How to play Mystic Gems
The game has five reels but doesn’t include any progressives. We’ll come to the paytable shortly, where they’ve listed all the prizes you could receive.
Onto the special icons now, and the golden beetle icon acts as a substitute. This also has a gem as part of its design. It may appear on reels two, three, or four. It does, and it’s called Mystery Multiplier. Sounds good, hmm? The idea is to find the scatter in all three of the positions on reel three – the only reel it can appear on. If this happens, you’ll receive a random prize. Whatever you wagered on the spin, you’re assured of receiving at least that amount, but the maximum here is 500x that amount.
There aren’t any free spins, but…
You can get some respins. To do this, find a complete wild stack on reels two, three, or four. Those wilds then fix in position, and you’ll receive respins according to the numbered reel the wilds landed on. So, two for the second reel, three for the third, and four for the fourth.

We thought the basic graphics might let this one down, but they honestly work well and make everything clear to see. We spotted a similarity or two with Starburst, but this slot strikes out in its own direction. This gives us reason enough to award 8 points out of 10.
